Abominations attack from range by firing powerful charged lightning blasts of overcharged [[Ether]]. They can break a [[Guardian]]'s shield in an instant and can easily kill them with a few well-placed hits. To engage closer-range targets, they slam the ground with [[Arc]] energy, dealing massive damage to anything within the attack's radius as well as knocking them back. These deadly attacks are only backed by the Abomination's large bulk, providing it with a large amount of health. The best way to deal with an Abomination is to keep some distance and burst it down with concentrated firepower from high-impact weaponry.
Abominations prefer to attack their targets by casting bolts of [[Arc]] [[Ether]] that are capable of inflicting high damage to [[Guardian]] shields from surprisingly long ranges. To engage close-range targets, they slam the ground with arc energy, causing a shockwave that both knocks back and deals massive damage to enemies within its range. These devastating attacks are enforced by the Abomination's sheer mass, providing it with a large pool of health—thus, range and heavy firepower are recommended for engaging with Abominations.

Abominations are large, monstrous Scorn that have been mutated beyond recognition as a result of excessive resurrections.

Overview[edit]

Abominations are among the most heavily corrupted Scorn, having been resurrected many times through the use of Dark Ether. Similar to Screebs, they are a distorted, mindless shell of their former selves, due to an apparent physical and psychological toll of which reanimation takes on them. Abominations, much like Ravagers, are entirely headless—a large metal cap is affixed to the stump of their neck. As former Dregs, they have two stumps below their intact arms, unchanged by their transformation into Scorn.

They bear a disturbing resemblance to Hive Ogres, both in terms of gameplay mechanics and how they both are a distinct class of mutant entities within their species.

Gameplay[edit]

Abominations prefer to attack their targets by casting bolts of Arc Ether that are capable of inflicting high damage to Guardian shields from surprisingly long ranges.
