The Fanatic's Staff is the mysterious staff of Fikrul, the Fanatic. It grants him the ability to resurrect dead Fallen into Scorn, and also use powerful Arc abilities that can kill Guardians in seconds. Fikrul would go on to upgrade his staff with the Echo of Riis, allowing for him to transform both Fallen and Scorn into Revenant Scorn, regardless if they were alive or not.[1] After Fikrul is killed for good, Eramis would use the staff and the Echo within to purge Mithrax, Kell of Light of his corruption at the hands of Nezarec, Final God of Pain. She'd then take the Fanatic's Staff and its Echo to go and attempt to repair Riis of the calcification that the Witness did to it.
Another Scorn Chieftain known as the Pillar of Devotion would also use a staff of identical appearance and power to the Fanatic's staff in its attempt to stop the Guardian from reaching Zavala during his confrontation with the Witness.[2]
Overview[edit]
The Fanatic's staff main attack is a lightning bolt similar to the Abomination's attacks. The Fanatic will suppress his foes with this attack most of the time, dealing high damage if he connects. The staff can also be used to channel an Arc field in an area, which will impede the movement and slowly damage any Guardians caught within.
