Revenant Totems are a type of device that are predominately used by the Revenant Scorn.
Gameplay[edit]
There are two versions of the Revenant Totem. The first version takes the shape of a chalice holding a small version of the Echo of Riis, and is employed by Revenant Barons. When a Baron is slain, their body dissipates into glowing Dark Ether, which trails off in a direction. When the energy reaches its destination, it will form a Revenant Totem. If left idle for several seconds, the Totem respawns the defeated Revenant Baron at full health. To fully defeat the Baron, Guardians must track which direction the Dark Ether trails off and then swiftly destroy the Totem, which will notify of the elimination of the Baron with a message on screen.
The second version is found on top of the cages in the Revenant Nest during Onslaught: Salvation. One of these totems is places upon each prisoner cage, projecting a domed barrier impervious to gunfire. The barrier must be entered on foot before the Totem can be targeted and destroyed. Enemies in the area will use the Totem's barrier to their advantage to ambush the players.
