Discarded Failures are Scorn Abomination that were imprisoned within Savathûn's Spire to be experimented upon. One appears in the battle against Once-Iriis, Failed Variable, protecting the plate that activates when the boss reaches half health. It has no special mechanics and can be slain with volume of fire.
