Imperial Mechanics are Cabal Colossi that are encountered on Mars in The Arrival Mission. They are deployed to assist in the construction of the Imperial Cabal's anti-air cannon on Mars when Savathûn's ship, the Lure, appears at the newly-returned planet.[1]
Gameplay
Two Imperial Mechanics are encountered at the fuel lines of the artillery battery. The first will arrive via Harvesters, accompanied by several Cabal troops. Both of them drop large wrenches upon death; two of which are required to open up the fuel lines of the cannon and prepare it for firing.
