The Burning eye is a very solid [[scout rifle]], with very high base stability causing it to maintain a very steady rate of fire even while being shot at. The weapon's sights are holographic, and they highlight enemies through distractions such as a [[Hunter]]'s Smoke, grenades, among other things. While not the most speedy or powerful [[Scout Rifle]] in the game, the Burning Eye makes up for it in terms of consistency and handling.

It can be obtained by either achieving Gold Tier in the Trials of Osiris, or going flawless (9-0) and receiving the adept version of it from the crate in the Lighthouse on Mercury.
