"And my vanquisher will read that book, seeking the weapon, and they will come to understand me, where I have been and where I was going."

Wolf arrives at the bonfire. Attal is there with the three Eliksni children nearby. Wolf approaches Attal, but a child name calls another and she goes to reprimand them.

Eliksni Child: You…dumb!

Eliksni Child: …Not—sss, hss…tss…

Attal: Stop it!

Attal: We don't say that to friends!

Eliksni Child: …Oh…

Attal: And if you keep it up, I'll tell Kevarrh.

Eliksni Child: *sobs* No…

Attal goes back by Wolf.

Attal: *sighs* …Kids turn against each other so easily, no matter the species.

Attal: Thankfully, they're not too hard to calm down. Now, where was I?

Attal: Ah, right! I'd just met a strange Eliksni at the back street warehouse.

Attal: Then I got the antiseptic and returned to the Station Camp.

Attal: By the time I finished stabilizing the wounded and headed back to the warehouse, they had already left.

Wolf (option): Ask about his House

Attal: Good question… I couldn't figure it out, and Kevarrh had no idea either.

Attal: But judging by his attitude, we can assume his House is one that's much less malicious toward humans compared to the House of Devils.

Wolf (option): Ask about the Servitor, Ether, and their connection

Attal: Kevarrh said Ether is like food for them—something they can't live without.

Attal: So Swift and I think the House of Devils likely destroyed their Servitor.

Attal: Without Ether, he and these kids would starve to death…

Attal: Which would explain why he had to find another.

Wolf (option): Ask about Lord Radegast's opinion

Attal: Lord Radegast acquiesced to my decision to adopt them.

Attal: But once they grow a bit more, I'll send them to study under Kevarrh.

Attal: …Of course, I don't want to leave them, but Kevarrh's right—I can't look after them forever.

Wolf (option): Ask about what happened next

Attal: At the time, we knew there were some Eliksni hatchlings, but we hadn't seen them for ourselves.

Attal: Until…

Swift: Sorry to interrupt, but…we have our meeting with Kevarrh soon.

Attal: Oops, almost slipped my mind.

Attal: Guess story time will have to wait! I'm going to talk with Kevarrh about how the Eliksni resolve disputes.

Wolf: No worries. I'll catch you later.

Attal: Okay!

Attal leaves.

Zev: So Lord Radegast let her keep the kids in Haven.

Wolf: It seems she's got the situation under control—still not something I could've ever imagined, though.

Zev: I wonder what happened next… What about that Eliksni adult?

Wolf: You're not the only one who's curious. But it looks like we won't be hearing the rest today.

Wolf: Let's go. We'll visit another time.
