Resolve is the sixth mission of Helhest's Journey.
Objectives[edit]
- Check your message from Donovan.
- Find Donovan in Haven.
- Talk to Donovan.
- Head to the Shifting Gate.
- Defeat the Hive around the sub-terminal.
- Shut down the first sub-terminal.
- Proceed onward.
- Defeat the Hive around the sub-terminal.
- Shut down the second sub-terminal.
- Proceed onward.
- Defeat the Hive around the sub-terminal.
- Shut down the third sub-terminal.
- Defeat the Hive around the sub-terminal.
- Shut down the last sub-terminal.
- Defend Grom.
- Operate the terminal to send the signal.

- Helhest receives a series of messages from Donovan.
Donovan-17: Meet me at the Armory.
Donovan-17: Hopefully, you remember who I am this time.
Helhest: Of course, Mr. Donovan—I made a note of it.
Helhest: I'll be right there.
- Helhest meets with Donovan at his lab.
Donovan-17: Lord Radegast wants me to help you find a way to—what was it? Ah yes, spread that signal.
Donovan-17: If you want to quickly emit a signal to all reaches of the planet, or even further, then you'll need to use the antenna array in my lab.
Donovan-17: However, it's constantly at max capacity as it's also used to sustain the Shifting Gate's operations.
Donovan-17: In order to send your signal, we'll need to make a sector of the Shifting Gate run at a lower frequency for a time, generating excess energy.
Donovan-17: Lowering the frequency must be done at sub-terminals within the sector, though.
Donovan-17: Remote operation would crash my primary supercomputer.
Donovan-17: Once the frequency is reduced, you'll need to run back to the lab to send the signal.
Donovan-17: Any slower, and who knows what terrible things might happen.
Helhest: I understand. Let's be off.
Donovan-17: Y-You actually understood all that? You're much smarter than Beowulf.
Donovan-17: Oh, right. As a little gift, I've linked that digital Awoken friend of yours to your comms channel.
Donovan-17: I presume you'll have much to chat about, yes?
Helhest: That's a huge help. Thank you.
- Helhest arrives at the Shifting Gate's ice field.
Grom: The first terminal is just up ahead. This way.
- Helhest defeats the Hive around the sub-terminal and shuts it down.
Grom: That takes care of this sub-terminal.
Grom: Two more to go.
The White Queen: I'm not sure how you managed to convince the Iron Lords, but I'm very surprised…
The White Queen: And thankful, too.
Helhest: I wasn't able to convince all of them.
Helhest: Some among them worry you'll involve innocent people in your conflict with the Queen.
- Helhest arrives at the second sub-terminal. She defeats the Hive around it and cuts its power.
The White Queen: …What if I told you the Queen and I are not entirely on opposite sides?
The White Queen: The Crows' assassination attempt led many to believe Mara Sov a staunch Isolationist, but a select few know that she's actually neutral.
The White Queen: She doesn't reject her former kin.
The White Queen: In fact, she wants to protect those who wish to leave.
The White Queen: She simply has more to consider given her status and responsibilities.
Helhest: Wait—then why did she want to kill you? And how do you know all this?!
The White Queen: …Answering that would require a much longer explanation.
- Helhest arrives at the third sub-terminal. She defeats the Hive around it and cuts its power.
Grom: Just one sub-terminal left.
- Helhest arrives at the last sub-terminal, much larger than the others.
Grom: Link me to it.
Grom: I'll need some time to operate this thing.
Helhest: I'll cover you.
- A horde of Thralls attack their position. More continue to arrive as Helhest defeats them.
Helhest: There really is no end to these things.
- Flashes of light suddenly start appearing, blinding the Thrall and making them easier for Helhest to handle.
Helhest: Huh…? They've lost sight of us?
The White Queen: And…there—I've taken control of the permissions here.
Helhest: …Don't let Mr. Donovan know.
- Helhest defeats the rest of the Thralls, and Grom finishes shutting down the terminal.
Grom: The frequency's lowered!
Grom: We need to hurry back to the lab, Helhest.
- Helhest heads back to the lab. Donovan isn't present, so Helhest uses the terminal to send out the signal. A screen nearby shows the signal being successfully broadcasted. When the signal reaches a specific location, however, Mara Sov appears on every screen in the lab and speaks to them.
Mara Sov: White Queen.
Mara Sov: And you—Helhest.
Mara Sov: I know what you're doing. My Crows have had their eyes on you this entire time.
Mara Sov: But I'm also very curious as to whether this broken planet can truly accept you, White Queen.
Mara Sov: Prove to me that when humanity reaches a dead end, the people will still join hands.
Mara Sov: I look forward…to your performance.
