Transcript[edit]

"And my vanquisher will read that book, seeking the weapon, and they will come to understand me, where I have been and where I was going."
The following is a verbatim transcription of an official document for archival reasons. As the original content is transcribed word-for-word, any possible discrepancies and/or errors are included.
Wolf arrives at the bonfire and talks with Attal. The Eliksni children are nearby.

Attal: Just like that, I gradually built a connection with them.

Attal: I don't understand the Eliksni language, and the Kind Eliksni Gentleman's grasp of ours was quite poor, so I had to guess what he meant by piecing together his words and filling in the blanks.

Attal: From what I could gather, their House had cut him and the children off from their Ether supply and he wasn't strong enough to fight.

Attal: So he asked me to prepare some materials for them.

Wolf: And did you help them?

Attal: Yes.

Wolf: …You weren't worried he was using you?

Attal: In times like these, we won't receive kindness if we don't offer trust first.

Attal: You need to give a little to get a little.

Wolf (option): Ask why she insisted on communicating

Attal: I don't think we should let different languages, appearances, or cultures stand between us.

Attal: We can't choose our origins, but…

Attal: We can bridge those gaps—I'm sure of it.

Attal: And talking to one another is the first step.

Attal: I just hope that one day, everyone can learn tolerance and forgiveness.

Wolf (option): Ask about the survivor's situation

Attal: …

Zev: We haven't seen him here. Is he not allowed in the city?

Attal sniffles.

Attal: …No, nothing like that…

Wolf: Sorry… I guess I shouldn't have asked.

Attal: No, it's… I'd like to tell you, but…I need some time.

Wolf: If it's too much trouble—

Attal: Next time.

Attal: Next time you come to the bonfire, I promise I'll tell you everything.

Wolf: …Okay. I'll come hear the ending when I get the chance.

Attal: Sure. See you later, Wolf.
