Barons are high-ranking Fallen nobility who outrank Captains and are only subservient to their House's Archon, Kell, and/or Prime Servitor. A House's Kell allows their Barons to take some of the largest shares of ether, allowing them to grow to several times the height of a lowly Dreg.
