Tarviks, Lion Baron was a Baron from the Fallen House of Lions, and most notable for competing to become the new Kell of Lions after the death of Yorvik, their previous Kell. Tarviks was known for conquering many star systems under his House's banner and served as one of Yorvik's best subordinates. During the Gray Wars, he led the Lion fleet against the House of Sky's own fleet above the planet Striviis, attempting to keep them from returning to the surface to reinforce against the Lions. He would also participate in the death of the Kell of Sky from his Ketch led by Yorvik.

But when Yorvik perished by an surprising ambush from remnants of the Sky Fallen, Tarviks became a contender for their House's Kellship, alongside Skrixas, the Wise and Skevsis, the Prowling. But while Skrixas wasn't much a threat to Tarviks, Skevsis on the other hand became Tarviks' most notable rival over the throne, even to the point of the two fighting over control of the unique Andiks line of Servitors while Skrixas secured command over the common and older Jobiks Servitors.

This would lead to Skevsis plotting to kill Tarviks in order to get more power. Secretly using House Sky remnant forces to distract the Baron's forces, allowing his assassin, Pevkis, the Honorless to murder Tarviks with his Wire Rifle while Skevsis's supporters destroyed his personal Ketch in an ambush, scattering Tarviks's forces and giving Skevsis an early advantage.
