House of Obsidian is the third DLC of Destiny 2 and eleventh expansion of the Destiny franchise. House of Obsidian's main Campaign takes place in various destinations, notably Triton, Earth, Nessus, Titan (moon), Ceres, and Venus. House of Obsidian involves halting Eramis' attempt at conjoining Obsidian with Salvation, forcing Obsidian out of hiding.

Description

Class-specific weapons available through Vanguard, Crucible, and Gambit quests Weapon Foundry gear, with each foundry having its own unique design and playstyle. Available foundries include:

Weapons upgraded through Infusion: dismantle more powerful weapons to increase the attack value on your equipped weapon. New heavy weapon class unlocked through a Quest from Eris Morn: the Sword 17+ new Exotic weapons (exact number unknown; the existence and/or method of obtaining certain weapons is "classified" by Bungie)

Locations

Triton - a new Patrol location and the focus of the expansion.
Phobos - a location only visited during the raid and certain Story missions
Ceres - a location only visited in ritual playlists and certain story missions
Rhea - A location only visited in ritual playlists

PVE Content

Complete Revamp of Patrol mode, including for current destinations, to integrate new events and locations.
Scourge's Forge - a player-instigated Public Event below the surface of Triton inspired by Court of Oryx and similar activities, featuring randomized enemies and Ultra bosses
23 new Story missions.
4 new Strikes and 3 remixed strikes; the new strikes feature multiple different scenarios and can swap out enemy races. Also feature "raid-lite" mechanics.

Playlists reorganized into Legacy (all Strikes in their Original Versions) and Marmoset (all Strikes including Revamped/Reprised strikes), Nightfall options available for both of them
New versions of Exodus Crash, The Shadow Thief, Winter's Run, The Wretched Eye, Fallen S.A.B.E.R. and Devil's Lair Featuring either House Salvation or Obsidian, if the older version of the strike is not already present, it will be reprised.
New versions of Cerberus Vae III, Dust Palace, Shield Brothers, Proving Grounds and the The Insight Terminus featuring the Rouge Red Legion or Shadow Legion.
