Strange Coin
From Destinypedia, the Destiny wiki
- "This unusual coin is warm to the touch and vibrates gently in your hand."
- — In-game description
Strange Coins are items used to purchase powerful loot from Xûr in Destiny.[1] They later returned in Destiny 2's 30th Anniversary Pack, where they were used to purchase special bounties and other rewards from Starhorse. Beginning in The Final Shape, Strange Coins were removed from the Dares of Eternity economy with Starhorse's bounties now costing Glimmer and are once again used to purchase wares from Xûr. Spending Strange Coins increases reputation with Xûr, and allows the user to obtain a Favor of the Nine which grants a buff called Strange Favor, granting a chance to earn a bonus Strange Coin from any Strange Coin drop. Strange Favor can stack up to 3 times labeled Strange, Stranger, and Strangest Favor, respectively and lasts 11 days unless another Favor of the Nine is picked up.
How to Obtain[edit]
