The first expansion for Destiny 3, The Voided Genesis takes place after Destiny 3 and explores the Taken's unity under various new villains, including Tech E. Coyote, Throneseeker of Oryx; Eto Yoshimura, Fragment of Evie; Nasira, Sister of Jafar; and Maleficent, Mistress of Evil and their crusade to bring killed enemies from death via Taken technology and kill Mal. The Voided Genesis takes place at The Altar of Oryx on the Dreadnaught, The Forbidden Mountains on Earth, The Ocean of Flames on Europa, and The Sultan's Tomb on Mars. Eris Morn returns to help The Guardian, along with Sloane, Ikora Rey, Zavala, Variks, The Loyal, and Petra Venj, track down Maleficent and her forces.
