Eva Levante is a human Guardian Outfitter. She helps Guardians customize their armor, and sells Shaders and Emblems. During the Red War, Eva helped organize a resistance movement in the occupied Last City against the Red Legion. After being injured in the liberation of the Last City she spent over a year recovering at The Farm before returning to the Tower to host holiday celebrations and special events.
Biography
Origins
Long before she was known as the Guardian Outfitter, long before she had a place in the Tower, she would help Guardians who came to her for help in trying to make a name for themselves, sewing fine crafted patterns and symbols as well as Emblems and Shaders for their capes and cloaks, taken or inspired from the olden days; a new pattern or symbol to make their own.[1][2]
Destiny 1
Festival of the Lost

The Festival of the Lost was an event and hosted by Eva in the Tower. It was started in hopes of letting Guardians understand who and what they are protecting as well as honoring the dead of both those who were lost to the Darkness and Guardians who sacrificed their lives in defense of Humanity and the Light. Guardians were tasked with everything from collecting candy from vendors of the tower, to killing certain enemies and guardians during patrols or in the Crucible, as well as collecting items while on patrol to complete bounties and quest only available during the Festival.
The Dawning

The Dawning was an event brought from the city to the Tower by Eva to do the same as the Festival of The Lost; to better connect Guardians with the inhabitants of the Last City.
Destiny 2
The Red War
Eva Levante survived the Red War and the Red Legion's invasion of the Last City, but did not reopen her shop in the new Tower. Ghost mentions that she has not been seen for some time.[5]
Festival of the Lost
At the time of the first Festival of the Lost after the Red War, Eva has still not been seen around the newly built Tower and no one had heard from her since. In her absence Amanda Holliday took up her role as the festival's event organiser.[6]
The Dawning 2019
Eva finally returned to head the events of The Dawning (that begun on 17 December 2019)[7], the first Dawning event held since the Red War's end. She is reintroduced to the game with an updated model, adding detail to her facial features and hands that seems to reinforce her elderly age.
Destiny 2's in-game description now describes her as: "No longer an outfitter for heroes of the Tower, Eva now devotes her time to making sure Guardians enjoy seasonal events."
Season of the Worthy
Alongside Zavala, Eva returns to help organize and host the Guardian Games. Unbeknown to Zavala, she managed to convince the Drifter to help by incorporating some of his deposit technology as part of the podium's structure.[8]

Eva's plans for the next Festival of the Lost were overshadowed by the arrival of Pyramids throughout the Sol System. When the celebration began, Eva greeted the Young Wolf, although her usual exuberance and cheer were diminished by the dire circumstances facing humanity. She acknowledged the dire circumstances they faced but believed that even at a time in which they faced impeding losses that remembering the dead remained important and to honor their sacrifices. As she provided the Guardian their mask Eva revealed that The Spider had provided a shipment of essential supplies for the Festival as an "investment". Eva was suspicious of the Spider's intentions and passed along a message to the Young Wolf from the crime lord asking for his "favorite associate" to visit during the Festival. Despite her distaste for the Spider she requested that the Young Wolf agree to the meeting in order to keep him happy. Eva later heard that the Spider had the Young Wolf enter the haunted Infinite Forest in pursuit of salvage the Vex had stolen from the House of Kings years ago. Upon seeing her friend again Eva expressed regrets at encouraging the meeting and was angry at being manipulated by the Spider, vowing to never deal with the Fallen ruler of the Tangled Shore again.[9]
Destiny Inventory
Eva Levante sells a random selection of 18 Emblems and 5 Shaders each day in exchange for Glimmer or Motes of Light; a 19th Emblem, "Little Light", is occasionally sold in addition to her regular inventory. Eva's inventory was eventually upgraded to sell four random colors of Chroma each week.

These Legendary Emblems (formerly sold by the Speaker) cost 7 Motes of Light each. Six are randomly selected for sale each day.
