Shimmering Chieftains are an Elite class of Scorn Chieftains that appear throughout The Ghosts Mission.

Gameplay

Throughout the course of the mission, the player will come across several levitating, purple crystals that are protected by an immunity shield. These shields are linked to a Shimmering Chieftain, who must be killed in order for it to dissipate, which will allow you to destroy the nearby crystal. This will have to be done multiple times during the mission, including when you have to descend into the depths of the Temple of the Wrathful, where the final boss, Brutiks, Lightbane, is located. Their immunity shields are also tied to the crystals, meaning you will have to kill more Chieftains before the boss can be damaged.
