History

Origins

The House of Gray was originally a small House, believing that The Traveler was actually a beacon to a "great and powerful evil" that could wipe out their civilization, however when the Whirlwind had happen, the House was immediately splinted and seperated, until several survivors of the event, began taking refuge within the House, becoming a amalgamation of former members of Houses, destroyed by the Whirlwind, taking up the House of Gray name, the House would later escaped into Sineria and they later came into contact to the House of Lions.

Gray Wars

The War started when the House of Gray entered the Fallen House of Lions’ territory and raided multiple camps killing countless Fallen. This caused Yorvik, the Kell of the House of Lions, to raged war against them. It was long courses of Battles, until Grayria a spy for the Lions found the House of Gray's Lair, The Lions Manned a raid against them with their powerful Forces, they destroyed the Lair killing Kell of Gray.

With the Kell dead, the House of Grey took Revenge. while Yorvik was trying to collect Ether from one of the Astroids, Gray pined him, Destroyed Lionship Jobkis-Fel, killing him within it. with Yorvik's Death, The House of Lions fell to civil War by splitting into 3 groups, Tariks, Lion Baron, Skrisah, the Wise, and Skeklos, the Prowling.

Skeklos began strangly rising to power, as He Destroyed Skrisah's fleet, and tricked the House of Gray into Destroying Tariks. With all of his rivals dead, He became Kell of Lions, Although his leadership did not Last, Most Lions saw him as a cruel and unfair Leader, when thing began uneasy, The Lions revolted with the help of Joskaa, Burning Blade, Grayria, Winter Lost, and Andiks-5. The attack led into a chase, ending in The Prison of Scars, A House of Gray facility, With the bulk of the House of Lions, they were able kill Skeklos, who apperntly was spy for Gray, and Destroyed the Prison, causing the Gray to trapped, with the War over, the Lions crowned Joskaa as a Kell to lead them.

Gray's Return

With their crippling losses, the House of Gray rose back to leadership when a Archon named: Tikmiks, who was aperntly the brother of Skeklos, the Prowling, reasumed command by free the Gray, and built a new Prime Servitor to cement his leadership called: Rainiks Reborn. With his followers at his side, he became a threat to the House of Lions. The Lions did not notice this until the Taken War, when they pillaging abandoned Fallen Lairs. The House of Lions send a signal to The Guardian into helping them, the Guardian accepted their offer, hunting down the Gray over Mars, Found Tikmiks Rallying the Remnants of Wolves into joining them, despite of this. Tikmiks' rally was put down by the Guardian capturing Tikmiks and sent him into the Kell's Dungeon, with the House of Gray on loose, Joskaa opened up the Kell's Wrath. Joskaa began proving Bounties against the House of Gray, with the help of the Guardians putting down most of Gray.

With the Capture of Tikmiks, his Archon Servants began pulling strings over Gray. For Control, they captured Skarr, a fallen Bounty Hunter, and Brainwashed him, into becoming a their Kell. when the Lions found about this They made a Guardian strike against the mad Kell. While on Venus the Guardians found Skarr leading a group of fallen, with the oppuntunity, they killed the kell.

To replace their Lost Leaders they Built Raniks Reborn, a Prime Servitor, When Hearing about this. The House of Lions Led an assault in Hong Kong, with the help the Guardian they head into the Lair and Destroyed the Prime Servitor.

With the Gray in ruins, the House of Lions led an Assault on Mars. With the death of Gray's Generals, the destruction of a Gray ketch and the breaking of the House of Gray. the House of Lions pinned them down, however, intead of destroying them, Joskaa forcing them to surrender and bow to him as their Kell, despite their resilience, they however surrendered, and Divhoris, the Knowledge-Keeper, a House of Judgment Scribe crowned Joskaa, as the new Kell of Gray.

Rebelling against the Lions

Despite of the House of Gray's surrendering the Lions and later living on one of the asteroids that the Lions controlled, their were some that rebelled against them. Tikmiks, the Archon Priest for the Gray that was captured ordered a duel against The Guardian in the Kell's Arena in hopes of Freedom, however he was defeated and executed.

But was most notably was when some House of Gray members left the House, and joined The Jackal Syndicate, a Fallen group led by Seriviks, Kell of this organization and a former House of Lions Archon. However, they were found and destroyed by the House of Lions, the House of Gray were again more splintered and humiliated, because of this effect.

In a Frail State

""That being said, The reports on the battlefield on Deimos is very intriguing, but the repeating intel has confirmed one outcome: House of Lions being victorious, thanks to their Guardian assets on battle. As after the other's defeat, many Gray members has knelt before the Lion banner. A blurb of House Judgment data sees as a success. More to follow.""
— Crow report

It is implied that most, if not all of the surviving House Gray members either surrendered to the House of Lions, joined the Jackal Syndicate, or were destroyed. But, it has been noted that the Lion Kell, Joskaa, is currently trying to rebuild the House of Gray, as he attempt remove the House's past and make the Gray anew.

Structure

The House of Gray are seen to be a very small House, being made up by renegades, Exiles, and/or survivors of broken or extinct houses, possibly equivalent to the House of Exile, except they have a Kell. However, after the Gray Wars, the House's strength of Leadership went unknown, due to the death of their Kell, the Kell of Gray was killed and there were no mentioned of their House Archon or Prime Servitor, but it was theorized that their Leadership was reduced to Captains and Barons, since they had enough will to attack the Lions again and kill their Kell, Yorvik. Other than that, their Kell's death did not break the House, showing a level of uniformity that other Houses do not display.

Years Forward, with their House back together they seem to try to have some type of grip of power over Broken or demoralized houses, since they tried to control Remnants of Wolves, and getting Leaders from other House to become Members of their house, since they were able to have a Archon, a Bounty Hunter, and even a Prime Servitor in their arsenal.

They later fell to the House of Lions. they are the second house to go into submission of another House, the first was the House of Winter, as they surrender to the House of Wolves.

Although their current whereabouts are unknown, as they either now live out by the Lions, or they reside in Joskaa's Prison.

Trivia

  • The House of Gray's Servitor Line, The line of Raniks Servitors, is actually not the house's real line of Servitors, as it was created by Tikmiks, before he became a Archon Priest, and was recently became in use, when Rainiks Reborn became the last Gray Leader. The true line of Servitors is unknown, as there is no mention of their real Prime Servitor.
  • The House of Gray's Banner, is seems to be similar to the House of Kings' banner. This indicates the Gray being the polar opposite of the Kings, In that, while the Kings are strong, powerful, and cunning House, While the House of Gray, are only just a weak, unstable, and disgraced.
