The Coming Storm is a Story mission in the The Lions' Armistice available in the Storms' Uprising Update where The Guardian are sent to Mars by AJ, the Relentless to track a signal that originated to a unknown House that recently attacked the House of Lions.

- AJ: Will give you a quick debrief on the story: Another House just popped up in the system, brand new, calls themselves "House Storm". Also made themselves our new enemies as they tried to kill the Lions' Prime Servitor so y'know they’re not happy. The Kell is trying to rally the whole House against this new threat, so I'm sending you to..."Recon" duty. I was able to hack into their comms and pin-pointed their location on Mars, gonna be a gunfight so don't make it too messy for me to clean up.
{Gameplay}
The Guardian lands in The Barrens, moving forward and enters the Scablands.
- AJ: This new House seemed to have entrenched themselves in Cabal territory, should be easy and fun for you, get in and out...and maybe if you could, find their leader and kill him.
The Guardian enters into Giants' Pass, seeing Sand Eater and Star Blazer Cabal setting up a blockade.
- GHOST: AJ, I'm seeing a Cabal blockade...notably Star Blazers.
- AJ: They won’t put up much of a fight since you killed all their commanders. Break them.
The Guardian would take out forces, causing more Cabal to retaliate, sending in waves and waves of Legionaries, Phalanxes, Psion Operants, and Colossi. But they would all be defeated along with a Major Legionary named Tra'eng.
- AJ: Good news, you’re getting support by Magnusk's Lions--(radio static) Bad news...Cabal is jamming signals, Help them out and take out this static.
The Guardian leaves and travels to the Valley of the Kings, where a battle between the House of Lions and Star Blazers fighting against each other, with a Lion Ketch looming in the backdrop.
- GHOST: Alright, let’s...help the Fallen, can’t believe I’m saying that...
The Guardian enters the skirmish and fends off the Cabal for the Lions led by Grask, Lion Captain. They take out three Psion Operants before drawing out Disruptor Xatch.
- GHOST: That should fix the comms!
- AJ: Damn Cabal, scrambling with all our comms and then goes to-
- GHOST: AJ?
- AJ: Yes, here, looks like the comms are good and the signal is even closer, keep going.
The Guardian continues on towards Cerberus Vae III alongside the Lions, as they get to the entrance a group of Fallen of unknown colors led by a High Servitor exit out of the tank.
- GHOST: AJ, we found the new guys
- AJ: Well, you know what to do.
The Guardian kills the enemy Fallen and goes into the tank. seeing Cabal and hostile Fallen fighting for control over the tank.
- GHOST: We got the Cabal fighting these new guys...
- AJ: Clear them out quickly, get to the main chamber.
The Guardian defeat both of the Cabal and Fallen, heading deeper into the tank as they get into the final area, seeing more Cabal and more Fallen. They would soon take them out. Afterwards, The Guardian finds a Fallen console that is where the signal is pin-pointing from. As they attempt to disable it, hoards of Fallen Dregs, Reaver Vandals, Shanks, and Servitors would exit out from the doors of the tank to fight The Guardian. As they defeat them, a large Captain, Tikmiks, Archon Priest, would exit out of the large doors at the end of the room accompanied by two Archon Servants.
- GHOST: Their leader is here! It’s an Archon!
- AJ: Eliminate him and this threat will be over.
The Guardian battles out against Tikmiks and his reinforcements, but just as they were about to defeat him, Tikmiks would teleport away from the tank and escape the encounter.
- GHOST: AJ, the Archon got away.
- AJ: Shit, okay, well at least we know this House of Storm has some sort of leadership, I’ll work with the Vanishing Claw to look for a possible Kell or Prime. Will also tell the Lion Kell about what we found, Good work.
