Dawn's Descent is the twelfth story mission of the Wrath of the Hive campaign.

Objectives[edit]

  • Enter the Shattered Castle
  • Explore the Castle
  • Follow Lucian's Signal
  • Clear the Throne Room of Gazers
    • Purge the Legacy of Zelgard
  • Descend
  • Taken Horde Incoming!!!!
    • Darkness Gathers, Rikia knows what's coming. You should probably run.
    • 1:00
  • RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!
    • Taken Horde closing in run before you are consumed
    • Use Traps to slow the Horde
  • Enter the Lost Sanctum

Modifiers[edit]

  • Hero Modifiers
    • Combatant Tier 2 - Difficult Combatants- Even more advanced and challenging combatants will appear.
      • Twice as many enemies, and a small number of majors
    • Extra Shields- More enemies have shields.
      • More combatants have shields.
  • Shielded Foes: Solar- You will face Combatants with Solar Shields. Activity modifiers may add more shield types.
  • Galvanized- Combatants have more health and are more difficult to stun.
    • Enemies have maximized health and advantage against being stunned.
  • Synergy- Fireteam communication and coordination is vital for success.
  • Specialized Combatants- Powerful Specialized Combatants appear in this mission, Fireteam Cooperation is required.
  • Scourge 1- Combatants with Banes are encountered frequently.
    • Atleast 6 Bane comabtants on the field
  • Curated Banes- Slow, Gravity, Bulwark
    • Bane: Slow- Affected combatants emit a Stasis field that slows and freezes nearby Guardians.
    • Bane: Gravity- Throws a void grenade that generates a damaging field that pulls you toward the center. This field lasts for a short time. When its about to end it launches those in it up while hitting them with damage again.
    • Bane: Bulwark- Guarded from Long Range, you must breach their bubble to slay these powerful combatants and any of their Guarded allies.
  • Epitaph- Taken combatants generate blight geysers when defeated.
  • Healing Finisher- Performing a finisher on a combatant heals you.
    • If you finish a foe, you heal to full.
  • Avatara' Psyche- Supers recharge more quickly.
