Light-Devourer Ogres are a powerful variant of Taken Ogres that appear as a unique enemies in the Changed Land's underground tunnels. They can appear elsewhere but using an alternative name but their function is unchanged.

Gameplay

In Dawn's Descent, Light-Devourer Ogres spawn soon after the first Taken Thrall arrive. When killed, they leave behind a blight that radiates a aura than attracts any nearby Taken to consume its corspe which oddly stays behind unlike other taken bodies which immediately return to the Ascendant Plane when slain.

Elsewhere, these ogres use another name or their old name but lack the Gluttonous Blight they normally drop.
