Season of the Risen is the sixteenth season of Destiny 2 and will begin on February 22nd, 2022 alongside the release of The Witch Queen. It features the Vanguard and Empress Caiatl working together to combat the spread of Savathûn, the Witch Queen's Lucent Brood.
