Jackolyte is a Halloween-themed, thirty minute timed consumable, that gives a player's Guardian a jack-o'-lantern head for thirty minutes. It was introduced on October 28, 2014 during the week of Halloween; three were sent to every Guardian by Kadi 55-30. During the same week players could acquire more by killing Hive enemies. Wearing the Jackolyte while talking with Xûr would allow the player to purchase Flight of Shadows for one Strange Coin.
The Jackolyte also appeared as a potential drop in the Year 2 event "Festival of the Lost".
