Mission: Sunder is the final mission in The Bladed Path quest of Season of the Witch

- Defeat the Leviathan-Eater

Transcript[edit]
Ikora: This is it, Guardian. Eris is ready for the final tithing ritual.
Ikora: This is our last and best opportunity to deal a real blow to Xivu Arath.
Ikora: I know this may seem like a long shot, but we have to trust in Eris.
Ikora: She made herself for this moment. You both did.
- Mission begins
- The Guardian uses Hive Magic to open the door to the Spire
Immaru: It's been fun watching you play Hive, but this has gotten outta hand.
Immaru: You activate the oubliette again, and Xivu's goons are gonna go full Torabatl on this place.
Eris Morn: You lack imagination, underling. You shall soon witness the consequences of your master's apostasy.
- The entrance to the Spire opens
- The Guardian arrives at the Altars of Summoning
Immaru: Oh no. Xivu's calling up the Leviathan-Eater. He's been around since Fundament. A real heavy hitter.
Immaru: I'm getting out of here, and you should too. Stick around, and you'll end up a grease stain.
Eris Morn: You will go nowhere. This is the culmination of the bargain you proposed.
Eris Morn: You will witness our triumph, or perish as one of us!
- The Guardian invokes Hive Magic to open the door to the Altar of the Sword
Xivu Arath: REJOICE, WORSHIPPER! YOU HAVE SOUNDED THE HORN OF BATTLE, AND WAR HAS ARRIVED!
- The Guardian arrives at the Altar of the Sword alongside Eris Morn
- The Guardian interacts with Eris Morn
Xivu Arath: GO FOURTH, EATER OF LEVIATHANS. SCOURGE OF THE SKY.
- The portal in the Altar of the Sword opens
Xivu Arath: RAZE MY SISTER'S COURT AND TITHE THE ASHES TO THY GOD.
- The Leviathan-Eater appears
- Hive appear
- The Guardian damages the Levithan-Eater
- The Leviathan-Eater becomes immune
- The Guardian receives two Solar crystals and deposits them
- The Leviathan-Eater's shield is broken
- The Guardian repeats this a second time
- The Leviathan-Eater becomes immune
Immaru: Run for your lives! They're about to bomb this place flat!
Eris Morn: Return to our ritual circle, my acolyte. Your mastery of spellcraft shall be our salvation!
- Hive Tombships appear
- The Guardian uses Hive Magic to create a shield
- The Guardian defeats enemies entering the shield
- The Leviathan-Eater charges towards the shield
- The Hive Tombships disappear
- The Leviathan-Eater destroys the shield
- The Leviathan-Eater's shield is broken
Eris Morn: Our foe is vulnerable! Impale them with your Light and send them screaming into the Deep!
- The Guardian kills the Leviathan-Eater
Eris Morn: In the name of all the Hive have stolen… conspire with my vengeance!
Eris Morn: In the name of Crota's Bane, the Kingslayer, and the Light! In the name of Eris Morn!
Eris Morn: Tithe unto me for the last time, acolyte! Aiat!
(Cutscene Begins)
- Eris Morn looking at the Guardian and Immaru
- Ikora Rey arrives
Ikora: Eris, I've arranged the transmat, but once she's here, we'll lose containment.
Ikora: We can't go back on this one.
Eris Morn: One last atrocity.
- The body of Savathûn appears
Immaru: Th-this wasn't the agreement! Xivu is still a threat!
Eris Morn: Do it. You will not have another chance.
- Immaru flies over to Savathûn's body
- Immaru revives Savathûn and her body floats up
Savathûn: [breaths deeply]
- Savathûn looks around
- Savathûn turns around and flies to Eris Morn
Savathûn: …Eris Morn. Finally out of her shell.
Savathûn: It looks good on you, honey.
Eris Morn: I am your ruin.
- Eris Morn slits Savathûn's throat with her blade
Savathûn: [gasps]
- Savathûn falls to the ground dead
- Eris Morn gains the tribute from Savathûn's death
Eris Morn: [grunts]
Ikora: Savathûn has not been killed by a Hive since she lost her worm. Stored eons of potent lies and deceit…
Immaru: All Savathûn's power, plus the tithes of the Guardians…
Ikora: Eris Morn is the strongest Hive there has ever been.
- Eris Morn begins a ritual
Eris Morn : Hear me, dead things. I let this moment pass unnamed, without song.
Eris Morn: This is the rejection of your sad legacy.
Eris Morn: Xivu Arath, agitator, fomenter. What a world-cyst you have built from your conquests.
Eris Morn: No more. Now and forever, you are banished.
- Eris Morn crushes her fist and completes the ritual
Eris Morn: …Aiat. [grunts]
- Eris Morn collapses and turns back into her human form
- Ikora Rey and the Guardian rush over to help her
