Doctrine of Passing is an Legendary Kinetic Auto Rifle in The Taken King. It can be acquired through the Trials of Osiris.

Gameplay[edit]

Famed for its extremely high fire rate and solid stability, Doctrine of Passing became highly sought-after during year 2 of Destiny 1. It's Adept version, only obtainable from a flawless Trials run, was both rare and deadly to fellow guardians.

Perks (Standard)[edit]

1st column[edit]

  • FastDraw IS: Standard sight. A lightweight design, good for recoil control.
  • Red Dot-ORA: Slightly improved optics, improved handling.
  • OEG Riflescope: Improved optics, improved range.

2nd column[edit]

  • Persistence: This weapon grows more accurate the longer it is fired.

3rd column[edit]

  • Extended Mag: A larger magazine.
  • Smallbore: Increased Range and Stability. Slower Reload, Reduced Magazine Size.
  • Braced Frame: Increased Stability. Reduced Magazine Size.

4th column[edit]

  • Randomly Selected Perk: This could be one of four randomly selected perks.
    • Rangefinder: Aiming this weapon increases its effective range.
    • Hidden Hand: This weapon gains better target acquisition.
