Splicer Captains are SIVA-infused Captains that lead crews of other Fallen Splicers with their combat prowess.

Gameplay[edit]

Splicer Captains are more deadly than their regular counterparts. For one, they come equipped with a Void Absorption Shield, unlike regular Captains, which have Arc shields. Second, their weapons have also been substantially upgraded: their Shrapnel Launchers have higher muzzle velocity, their Shock Rifles have higher fire rates and faster ballistic velocity, and they carry Scorch Cannons more frequently than their regular Fallen counterparts. The Splicer Captain's teleportation also has a longer range. Like their fellow transformed subordinates, Splicer Captains killed by a critical hit can unleash a Splicer Seeker cloud, which will home in to the nearest foe and inflict severe damage if not shot down.
