Sync Plates are Vex constructs used for teleportation and synchronization.[1][2]
Overview
Praetorians, elite Vex Minotaurs, guard Sync Plates from enemies. When activated they can revive numerous pieces of Vex technology as well as form the Spires needed to access the Vault of Glass.[3]
Deeper in the Vault are two more spires, attached to two Transfer Gates leading into past and future versions of the Vault. Inside these past and future Vaults is the Aegis needed to defeat Atheon, Time's Conflux.[4]
In Destiny 2, sync plates are used in many missions and strikes, usually to disable vex barriers or shields.
Trivia
- Sync Plates are found all throughout Nessus, and they have a different design in contrast to the ones on Venus.
