The Eliksni homeworld of Riis was set upon by the Pyramids, causing the Traveler to flee. The Pyramids subsequently caused massive damage to the Eliksni civilization, and the remaining Houses fell to fighting each other. While Oryx, the Taken King would challenge and defeat Chelchis, Kell of Stone, making a last stand before the maw. Several Houses, including House Stone and most of House Rain, were ultimately wiped out, with billions of Eliksni perishing. The remaining Eliksni fled their homeworld in pursuit of the Traveler, beginning the period known as the Long Drift.
