Special Telemetry are consumable item in Destiny first introduced in the second half of Year One.

When used, it increases experience gained by upgradable Special Weapons for 30 minutes. Special Telemetries as well as its Primary and Heavy Weapon counterparts are able to be purchased from Banshee-44 for 100 Glimmer and 5 Weapon Parts. It replaced the Shotgun Telemetry, Sniper Rifle Telemetry and the Fusion Rifle Telemetry to increase the experience gained for all Special Weapons.
