'''Plasteel Plating''' is gained by dismantling Uncommon, Rare, or Legendary Armor and is used to upgrade a [[Titan]]'s armor that has the ability to be upgraded. Dismantling less common pieces of armor usually gives a player more Plasteel Plating. (e.g. dismantling a Rare helmet could give a player 3 Plasteel Plating, while dismantling an Uncommon helmet will give a player only one piece of Plasteel Plating). Plasteel Plating is usually required to upgrade the defense of a piece of armor. If a player dismantles an upgraded object, they can expect to have more plasteel plating. For example, a blue item will normally give a player 2 plasteel platings, but a fully upgraded blue item can give a player up to 5 plasteel platings.
