Amtec is a Red Legion Psion Flayer, and a main antagonist of the Season of the Worthy.
Biography
Amtec is the fourth and youngest sister in a quartet of Psion Flayers, that wrestled for control over the Sundial. She met with her sisters during the process of fusion where she would join them in mind but not in body.[1] She was told by her sisters that if their plan were to fail, she would take the role of the Legion's leadership.[2] After Inotam's destruction and the deaths of her sisters, Amtec enacted one last desperate ploy by setting the crippled Almighty on a collision course towards Earth and the Last City.[3]
Despite her efforts, however, the Almighty was destroyed by Rasputin, with the help of the Guardians, before it could collide with Earth, resulting in Amtec's plot ending in a total failure for the Red Legion. Amtec's final fate is unknown. However, Yirix and an unknown splinter group within the Psions continues to enact her vengeance against the Last City behind the backs of the Cabal Empire.[4]
