Restore Vanguard operations on the Moon. Investigate a potential rising Hive threat.

 

The Dark Beyond is the the reprised version of it's Destiny counterpart, and serves as the first mission of Chapter 5 for the New Light campaign.

Objectives[edit]

  • Scout the Moon
    • The Hive have been active since the Red War's end. Investigate what they have been doing on the Moon.
  • Investigate the Outpost
    • Pull any information pertaining to Hive activity from a nearby outpost within the Archer's Line.
  • Drive off the Fallen
    • Defeat the House of Dusk forces storming your position.
  • Locate the Missing Guardian
    • Find a missing Guardian previously charged with scouting the Hidden Swarm.
  • Revive the Dead Guardian
    • Guardian down... See if you can resuscitate them with the Light.
  • Stand your Ground
    • The Hive have been awoken! Send them screaming back into the catacombs.
  • Defeat Runok, the Dispersed
    • Defeat the Wizard coordinating the attacking Hive.
  • Secure the Ghost
    • Claim the fallen Guardian's dead Ghost. See what information they have collected before their passing.
