Rising Champions is the second mission of Chapter 5 of the New Light campaign, and is the reprised version of The Sword of Crota from Destiny.

Objectives

• Reach the Hellmouth
  • Begin your search for the Hive claimants around the Hellmouth.
• Find the Hive Princes
  • Tap into Hive bio-energetics to locate where the Princes are hiding.
• Defeat the Hidden Swarm Commander
  • Confront the Hidden Swarm leader attempting to prevent your search for the Princes.
• Delve into the Fortress
  • Follow the signature of the Princes to the Gatehouse within the Hellmouth.
• Challenge the Princes
  • Claim the sword and answer the challenge of the Hidden Swarm.
• Slaughter the Hive
  • Cut down the Hive. Draw the Princes out to slaughter.
• Assassinate the Prince Claimants
  • The Princes reveal themselves. Destroy them with your claimed blade.
• Survive Retaliation
  • The Hive will not brook the loss of their commanders so easily. Brave the vengeful Hive coming down upon you.
