Shadows of the Night is the second story mission of the first part of the Paradox expansion's storyline. While the Vanguard debates on the emergence of a hitherto unknown Cabal Legion on Earth itself, The Guardian is directed to Deimos by the Exo Stranger, where they discover the first of the Eclipse-based subclasses: Fusion.

Eris Morn is working with Ikora Rey and Osiris to form a plan to address this, and I believe they will see this through.
