Scytales are a unique group of Vex Champions, as well as simulated Hive, Taken and Cabal Champions, that are encountered in Override and Expunge missions. Much like other Champions, fighting a Scytale requires an Anti-Barrier, Anti-Overload or Anti-Unstoppable mods in order to disrupt them. Once killed in the Override, they will drop Energy Spike which can be deposited in the Vex Terminal. Major variants would later be added to the game with Override's addition to Arena Ops, where they can be found on lower difficulties of the activity.

Trivia

• Despite Scorn being an enemy type in Override, Scorn Scytales did not exist during the time of Season of the Splicer, this was due to the fact Scorn Champions weren't added until Season of the Lost.
  • Scorn Scytales were added to the activity upon its return in Monument of Triumph.
