Archborn Qodan is a Psion Flayer and Imperial Scientist of the Golden Legion. An intelligent Psion at his young age, Qodan butted heads with one of the leading Freeborns of the Cabal, Otzot for supremacy of who would be the leading force of the Psion people. Gaining a reputation in the ranks of the Golden Legion under their own appointed Emperor, Zor, Qodan would earn the title of Archborn.

Even with the newfound freedom of the Psions in Empress Caiatl's reign, Qodan stuck with the old tradition along with the remaining Psions of the Golden Legion, believing that freedom must be earned much like any other subservient creature in the Cabal Empire. His innovations in the Cabal Empire would lead the rest of the Cabal to wield the powers of Darkness like Stasis, making him the first Flayer to wield the dark power.
