Omens of the Witness are the base form of Stasis-wielding Subjugators encountered across the Pale Heart. They also are an enemy type that can be summoned within the Shooting Range.

Gameplay[edit]

The Omens of the Witness are encountered across the Pale Heart, often leading fellow Dread or Taken units. They move with rapid speed and often keep a far distance from the enemy, using their Glaive to fire bundles of Stasis projectiles at their opponent. If an opponent engages up close with an Omen, it will either strike them with its Glaive or perform a kick reminiscent of Rhulk. Omens will grant themselves and any of their nearby allies a Resonant Harrier, which functions similarly to a Warlock's Arc Soul or Hellion. This Resonant Harrier will persist even if the Omen that granted it is defeated. Occasionally, the Omen will point their glaive at their target and release several Stasis crystals at enemies, slowing them and possibly freezing them before striking the ground with their Glaive and shattering all crystals, damaging or killing enemies. Upon losing one-third of its health, the Omen will become enraged, resulting in it becoming more aggressive as it relentlessly pursues its opponent, as well as gaining 30% damage resistance. It's glaive will begin glowing with Stasis power, and the amount of projectiles per shot will double from 2 to 4.
