Onarr is a Guardian who rose in destruction following the death of her partner Forum:Kayjaka.
Biography[edit]
Early Life[edit]
Onarr was born in the The Reef on 7 Iris during the Great Ahamkara Hunt. Her parents died to the Silent Fang led by Drevis, but herself was rescued by the Corsair. Some time nearing the end of the war, she was being transported until a Skiff shot the Ceres Galliot, vaporizing the pilot and sending the Jumpship with Onarr inside on a collision with Earth.
Revival as a Guardian[edit]
The Galliot crashed into Earth near Tibet, killing a small group of wandering Hive. Onarr was revived by a Ghost sometime after. She would later survive against the Hive while trying to repair the jumpship. By the time of the Taken War, the Taken started to manifest in Tibet. Onarr would attempt to hunt down a Taken Knight to steal the taken energy for her jumpship, but would lose track of it when it teleported away under the orders of Oryx. At the end of the Hundred Years' Siege, Onarr joined the Vanguard, and obtain the Truth. She would travel to Meridian Bay, scavenging for anything that would make her stronger. She would then take one of the dead Ice Reapers' armor, and make the armor as hers. She would then be setting camp in the Forgotten Shore during the Cosmodrome's quarantine, while watching the House of Devils disappear in their ships among the heavy snow. Onarr would remain silent with her activities until the Red War.
The Red War[edit]
Ghaul invaded the Last City and cut off the light. Onarr became weak when her Ghost suddenly dropped. She put her Ghost in her pocket and continued to survive in the nearly empty Cosmodrome. Hidden Swarm was the only enemy faction remaining. Whenever they saw Onarr, they would either flee or be killed. After Ghaul's defeat, the Traveler would burst and Onarr would rise in power again.
Living in Twilight Gap[edit]
Onarr would soon move to Twilight Gap to make residence. Over the years, she would watch Lord Shaxx's crucible from an unseen perspective. Xivu Arath's Horde led an attack against the defenses of humanity, including a facility in Nkechi's Cut. Onarr would kill a couple Hive before Sonnia arrived and finished the job.
Meeting Kayjaka[edit]
Kayjaka, two Guardians fused into one and Dire Taken, would wander into Twilight Gap. Onarr became obsessed with Kayjaka's Taken energy, and decided to bond with her as a close friend.
Rise in Destruction[edit]
Onarr and Kayjaka went to the moon to start their mission of Oblation. They were stopped at Sorrow's Harbor by a renegade Titan named Marv Tiller, abusing their Sentinel of the Light. Kayjaka attempted to stop the rogue lightbearer, but blew herself up with her own Gjallarhorn after Marv exploited the Offensive Bulwark by throwing multiple Ward of Dawns, killing both Kayjin and Sonnia, and destroying the fused Ghosts. Seeing this, Onarr grew in rage and ended the rogue lightbearer in vengeance. She then wears Kayjaka's cloak, and then steals her Taken energy. Onarr then carries Kayjaka's destruction, and hunts down the Forger of Sorrow herself.
The Truth Nuke[edit]
Onarr's power was immense. She was beginning to weaken the bulk, shatter forces, and scar her opposing notables. Randal, the Vandal was killed repeatedly, even when he was trying to rise in leadership with the power of Distortion, proclaiming himself the "Kell of Distortion".
Trivia[edit]
- Onarr is the second Guardian to become fully Taken, and still maintain their will.
- Despite Onarr's life, she was probably the youngest lightbearer to rise.
- It was mentioned that Onarr would attempt to kill a Taken Knight to claim it's energy but would disappear. Based on the term "claim" being attempted, this Knight could have been Kalboh, and would be the reason for his title.
- The "Truth Nuke" is a reference to a high-damaging loadout when using the Truth and Shadowshot from a Prismatic subclass.
