The Lion Splicers is the Splicer sect of the Fallen House of Lions. Led by the former rising Archon, Skorvik, they assisted their House throughout their time in the Sol System as they pushed for technological advancements and strengthening for the Lions.

History

The Lion Splicers were first known to have played a part in the modification of Andiks Prime to be able to produce and supply weapons for the House.

During the Taken War, Lion Splicers were tasked by their Kell to investigate the power of the Taken and to potentially harness or weaponize their power for their own benefits. Lion Splicers would attempt several methods, including attempting to reverse the Taken effect and weaponizing their power against them. The Lion Splicers would also gain possession of the Desolates from exchanges between the Awoken and used it to study more of the Taken much more easier. Leading to prototypes of several Taken-infused armor and weapons for the Fallen, and theorizing the possibility of infusing the power onto a individual.

At some point, long after the defection of Seriviks, Lion Archon, Joskaa, the Kell of Lions, attempted to make the Lion Splicers' leader, Skorvik, the successor for the House Archon. Skorvik turned it down, due to his history and other personal endeavors, such as monitoring the broken House of Devils and their Devil Splicers to which Joskaa respected his wishes.

During the Siege on Mars, Lion Splicers worked alongside the Vanishing Claw to break into the Cabal's Battle Network to track the Star Blazers for the Guardians to locate. Following Tikmiks's Revolt, when the House of Storm was assimilated into the Lions, Storm Splicers would work alongside Lion Splicers, including assisting the Warlock AJ, the Relentless in tracking a Vex signal pertaining a unknown Vex collective and a Shard of The Traveler along with it.

When the Crusades of the Jackals occurred, Skorvik monitored the newly Jackal Syndicate led by the former Archon, Seriviks, along with their usage of SIVA by their own Splicers, the Jackal Splicers, while the Lion Splicers worked alongside the Lions and Guardians against the Jackals. After the death of Seriviks and the discovery of The Jackal's Den, Skorvik would target Krathiks, Rabid Archon, a former Devil Splicer, working with the Jackal Syndicate as its Archon. Skorvik quickly formed a team of six Guardians to return to the Jackal's Den and break into the hidden Crimson Vault to kill the Jackal Archon. After eliminating Krathiks, Skorvik would continue to monitor traces of SIVA amongst the Jackals in order to exterminate it, leading to discoveries such as the Jackal's Solidarity prisons, and the bounties of Droviks, Ether Corruptor and Johzan, Splicer Baroness, Splicers working under the Jackals.

Long after the discovery of The Lunar Pyramid, the Lion Splicers would track the Jackal Splicers in the European Dead Zone when they discovered the reemergence of SIVA and corrupting the Dead Zone into the European Corruption Zone through reports from Lion Scouts. When the Second SIVA Crisis occurred, Lion Splicers operated with the Lions to fight back against the Jackals to eradicate SIVA and their new Archon, Krovnik, Godless Archon.

Trivia

• The Lion Splicers are the second Fallen Splicer group mentioned in Destiny, the first would be the Devil Splicers.
