Vals are the second lowest rank in the Cabal command structure, commanding Bracuses, yet subordinate to Valuses and Commanders. From their appearances around highly-valuable assets and the squads they are usually seen commanding, their ranks can be assumed to be akin to Captains and bodyguards.
