The Occupation is the sixth mission of Chapter 5 of the New Light campaign, released later into Episode: Echoes. It is a reprised version of the Enemy of My Enemy mission from The Taken King.

Objectives[edit]

Weaken the Cabal
- Defeat the Cabal defenders surrounding the crashed ship to draw out reinforcements and gain a way inside.
Enter the Ship
- Board the warship and search for any actionable intel within.
Access the Defense Network
- Unearth any information on Cabal operations within the Dreadnaught.
Pursue the Cabal
- Follow a platoon of Cabal to a "rupture" and reach Dreadnaught's head first.
Clear out the Mausoleum
- Destroy both Cabal and Hive forces. Forget what they say about the enemy of my enemy.
Investigate the Statues
- Investigate the Hive statues connected to the rupture within the area. Find a way to coax it open.
Investigate the Rupture
- The Rupture is activating without your input? Investigate with extreme caution.
Repel the Hive
- The Hive are swarming your position! Stand your ground and don't get overwhelmed.
Enter the Rupture
- The Rupture is open. Just get inside and hope to clear the hoard of ravening Thralls.
Fight Off the Defenders
- Crush the new threat that has emerged from the Rupture. Brave the defenders of the portal.
