Lost to Light is the ninth mission of Chapter 5 of the New Light campaign, released later into Episode: Echoes. It is a reprised version of the original Lost to Light mission from The Taken King.

Objectives[edit]

Enter the Chamber of Night
- Find the Chamber of Night, where Crota's Soul was once held and attempted to be restored.
Disrupt the Ritual
- Prevent the Hive from empowering their Champion with dark power within Crota's soul.
Secure a Crystal Shard
- Secure a chunk of crystal from what was once a vessel for Crota's soul, so that you may harness ascendant power.
Run!
- Taken energy is pouring into the Hellmouth! Escape the newly Taken champion and the forces he's calling down upon you!
Escape the Hellmouth
- Evade the Taken and fight your way out of the Hellmouth with the vessel in hand.
