Oracles are a Vex unit found in the Vault of Glass. Unlike normal enemies, they do not attack directly. Instead they cast a debuff called "Mark of Negation", which will kill all players unless they are cleansed. It's best to kill all oracles that appear before they cast the debuff.[1]
