Yara Coy is a Guardian in service of the Vanguard. She participated in the Trials of Osiris as part of a fireteam with Trestin and Sadhij Khuruf.

Biography

During a match against Crimiq-5, Katake and Sola Scath, she warned Sadhij not to over-extend himself when he attempted to flank their enemies. While he did, she and Trestin would push A-side. However, Sadhij would be taken out while Sola would attack her and Trestin. After recovering from an explosion caused by Yara launching a rocket that collided with Sola's Nova Warp blast, she saw Sola lodging a Vortex Grenade within Trestin's chestplate and watched as it devoured her into nothing. Sola then turned her attention to Yara, who told her Trestin didn't deserve such cruelty. Instead of killing Yara for victory, Sola chose to vivisect her in search of an "umbral center." However, Yara would be put down with a shot from Crimiq-5.

Following the match and the events on Europa, Trestin would seek out Fallen civilians fleeing the House of Salvation and tortured them so she could learn how Eramis got the power of Stasis. When Sadhij and Yara attempted to stop Trestin, she tortured them as well.
