Katake is a Guardian in service to the Vanguard. He participated in a Trials of Osiris match alongside Sola Scath and Crimiq-5.
Biography[edit]
Katake had previously participated in the Trials of Osiris hosted by Brother Vance in the Vestian Outpost.[1]
Prior to a Trials of Osiris match against Sadhij Khuruf, Trestin and Yara Croy on The Burning Shrine, Katake was challenged by Saint-14 to lead his team. During the match, he would be filled with fear, having heard stories of legendary Guardians using the Trials as a proving ground, as he heard Saint-14's voice as the announcer. He was not fond of the idea, believing that now was a time for escape instead of leadership. After being informed by Crimiq-5 of one of the enemy Guardians was headed to Control Point C, Katake moved to stop them. He would confront Sadhij and attempt to use their Fusion Rifle on him, only to be wiped out by a Thundercrash. Moments before, he was able to warn Crimiq about the Titan.[1][2]
