The Torus Assimilative is a specialized branch of the Vex' Torus collective encountered beyond the Sol System on worlds beyond and are tasked with serving as the offensive and defensive arm of the broader Torus Collective. The Vex of this particular programming of Vex has been noted to be far more aggressive than any other Vex Collective encountered so far, with many among their ranks performing counter attacks in retaliation for damage to their structures and besieging coalition forces attempting to establish a base beyond. They are distinguished by their muted maroon-colored frames, outlined and over a gold and brass trim, thick armor plates, and sport far more optical lenses in their heads and chassis, each glowing an incandescent orange.

History

Origin

Along with the Torus Enhancive and Torus Unitary, the Torus Assimilative was once a part of a vast collective of programming simply known as the Torus Collective. As the Collective grew and grew in size, however, the collective minds unanimously decided to split their collective into three separate groups, each specializing in a particular field to further streamline and advance the collective. The Torus Assimilative would emerge in far greater numbers than their peers, with the bulk of their forces serving as the designated assault and defense force of the Torus Collective.
