Perytons are modified Wyvern frames utilized by the Torus Assimilative and encountered in the Worlds Beyond expansion.

Gameplay

Perytons behave a lot like Wyverns, closing the distance between themselves and their targets all the while hosing into them with their weapons, as well as defending their Vex compatriots with their Fan Shields. Rather than shotgun-like Warp Lances, Peryton's are instead equipped with a machine gun-like arc-charged Slap Repeaters. While weaker than a standard Wyvern, the Perytons are capable of utilizing their fan integrated Harpy fins to achieve flight, allowing it to temporarily fly around and get an angle on their opponents before unleashing a Gravity Slam attack.
