Strigois are larger, more advanced, and far more fearsome Vex Melee units developed to support the Liches of the Torus Assimilative, and first appeared in the Worlds Beyond expansion.

Gameplay

In many ways, the Strigoi is identical to the standard Lich unit and is superficially a far more advanced variant of its weaker counterpart. They are larger and sport more health than a standard Lich, making them a more prominent threat. Additionally, however, the Strigoi can drag its blades into the ground and hurl a wave or blade of wind at an opponent. Rather than a burst-fire Slap Piercer built into their arms, the Strigois now fire a shotgun-like Slam Blaster attack, which has considerable range and can put out a lot of damage if enough projectiles connect.
