Data Encryptors are a type of enemy that appears in Reclaim.

Gameplay

Within the salvage areas, Data Encryptor Colossi and Wyverns are highlighted by a glow. They appear in areas where three columns are nearby after killing a few enemies. When slain, the Encryptor will drop a batch of data, which can be picked up and inserted into one of the columns. Inserting into one of the columns that does not have an objective marker will prompt another enemy to spawn to provide another batch of data to try again. The Encryptor will return twice, becoming an Ultra for its final respawn. Once all three columns have been filled, the nearby cache of Golden Age salvage will open for collection.

The Psion and Hobgoblin Data Encryptors always remain Majors, and hold the data that protects the Immunity Shield of a nearby Data Warden Incendior or Minotaur.

Data Encryptor Hydras appear during the final battles of the Fallen Bunker version of Reclaim. After the boss reaches half health, it will teleport away with an immunity shield, and the Conflux Wardens will appear to lock the password for its barrier, which will be unavailable until the Hydras are destroyed.
