- "Can you access that console, Guardian? Releasing the prisoners could be a boon to us."
- — Eris Morn[1]
Imperium Captives are a collection of Imperial Cabal and House of Spider members who have been captured by the Barant Imperium. They would be released by the Guardian during their escape with a Stasis-imprisoned Drifter to provide them with extra firepower.[1]
Gameplay[edit]
The Imperium Captives can be released in the first two rooms after securing Drifter. Releasing the House of Spider members allows them to fire down from their cells to provide cove fire on the advancing Barant Imperium forces. In the second room releasing the Imperial Cabal causes them to march out of their cells in unison and begin ruthlessly baring down on their captors with Arc gun fire, psionic blasts, and Solar flame torrents. Upon each room being cleared of enemies, the Captives return to a neutral state and wander in a small area outside of their cells.
Trivia[edit]
- If one pays close attention upon freeing the Imperial Cabal captives, a single Combat Frame is also released. This frame is usually instantly gunned down and destroyed before it can contribute anything more than mild amusement.
