Omnigul, Will of Crota is an Ascendant Hive Wizard and the consort of the Hive god Crota; she was also the matron of the Spawn of Crota and the leader of his armies. She acted as the secondary antagonist of The Dark Below arc, where she led the Hive in resurrecting Crota back to the material realm and raising an army to invade Aloria; both efforts were thwarted as she finally met her supposed end at the hands of Fireteam Jaeger Shade which included her cousin-in law.

Omnigul would survive her assassination and retreat to her consort's throne to serve as one of the last lines of defense to the Hope Eater alongside Ir Yût, the Deathsinger. However, she would be slain by the very same fireteam that made an attempt on her life before.

Biography

Ancient History

As the consort of the Hope-Eater, Omnigul served as the mother of Crota's spawn through their progenation, acting as keeper of the brood's worms and his chosen Will. Through their conception, Omnigul is also the mother of four daughters of Crota's direct lineage: Hashladûn, Besurith, Kinox, and Voshyr.

At one point she was the target of a then-unnamed Wizard to feed her starving worm using her death as a tithe; an act which instantly invokes Crota's wrath only for her to escaped him and then rewarded by his father whom named her Lokaar and elevated her to his court.

At some point Omnigul would be given command of the Might of Crota to be her bulwark, an Ogre of Crota's design deemed to be untamable by the likes of Kagoor, World-Renderer.

Gameplay

Omnigul fights like any other Brood Queen but comes equipped with a Solar Shield. She cannot summon a Shade like other Brood Queens.

In the raid she fights the same but has a special immunity shield that can only be removed by someone carrying the Enlightened Buff, but this shield regenerates extremely quickly if Omnigul doesn't receive a headshot by an Enlightened character every so often.
